Elon Musk vs. Mark Zuckerberg: American businessman Elon Musk has again reacted to Mark Zuckerberg. Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk on Sunday (August 25, 2024) supported Telegram founder Pavel Durov and said that Mark Zuckerberg should be arrested for the massive child abuse problem on his Meta-owned Instagram.
Billionaire Elon Musk reacted when Russian-born Pavel Durov, founder and owner of the popular encrypted messaging app Telegram, was arrested in France on several charges related to his platform. If convicted, Durov could face up to 20 years in prison.
Musk gave a statement regarding Zuckerberg’s arrest
Elon Musk said Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg has already come under pressure from censorship. “Instagram has a serious child abuse problem, but Zuckerberg doesn’t get arrested because he censors free speech and gives governments backdoor access to user data,” the X owner posted.
The tech billionaire noted, “To support freedom of speech, it’s important that you forward X-Post to people you know, especially in countries with censorship.” In February this year, Zuckerberg apologised to the families of victims of online child sexual abuse during a Senate hearing at Capitol Hill.
What did Musk say to the children’s parents?
The billionaire entrepreneur told the children’s parents, “I’m sorry for what you all have gone through. No one should have to go through what your families have gone through.” He added, “That’s why we invest so much and we will make sure that no one has to go through what your families have gone through.”
